  ## New Features

  ### Nexus MCP Server: Connect Claude & ChatGPT to Your Workspace

  You can now connect external AI assistants such as Claude Desktop and ChatGPT directly to your Nexus Search workspace via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Go to **Settings → Extensions → MCP**, copy the connector URL, and paste it into your assistant's custom connector settings. After signing in and selecting a workspace, the assistant can query your candidates, contacts, jobs, projects, and more — always scoped to your personal permissions and workspace data. Access can be revoked at any time from the same Extensions page.

  ### Excel & CSV Import

  You can now easily import accounts, contacts, candidates, projects, jobs, and applications from Excel (.xlsx, .xls) or CSV files into your workspace. Go to **Settings → Imports → New Import**, select the target entity, and upload your file (up to 5 MB and 5,000 rows). The Nexus AI analyzes the column headers and sample values and automatically suggests a suitable mapping to standard fields as well as your custom attributes. You can review, adjust, or skip individual columns before starting the import. During processing, you can follow the live progress with success and error counts; once complete, a detailed error report is available for download. All imports are logged in the history and can be reopened, resumed, or cancelled at any time.

  ### Reply, Reply All & Forward Microsoft Emails in Nexus

  It is now possible to reply to, reply all, and forward emails linked to a record directly from the Nexus activity bar. This feature is only available when the current user is among the actual recipients of the email.

  ## Improvements

  * **Briefings** have been **refined**, as the Nexus Assistant now takes process definitions for projects, candidates, etc. into account, enabling it to follow briefing descriptions more precisely.
  * **Project requirements** can now be marked as **"must-have"**. This is also taken into consideration during AI-assisted project creation.

  ### New Custom Attribute: "Auto-Number"

  A new "Auto-Number" attribute type can now be created for accounts, contacts, projects, and candidates, enabling custom sequential identification numbers — for example for candidates. Auto-numbers can be used in document templates and other templates, are searchable, and can be added as list columns. Examples include CAN-0028 as a candidate identifier or ACC-2026-002 as a account number for a company.

  ## New Features

  ### Auto-Accepting Data Management Agent Proposals

  In the workspace settings under AI Features, you can now enable automatic acceptance of Data Management Agent proposals that exceed a certain confidence threshold. This allows updates such as new email addresses or other field changes that are highly likely to be correct and purely additive in nature to be applied automatically, without requiring manual approval.

  ## Improvements

  ### Job Listings Inherit the Project's Recruiting Process

  When creating a job listing in Nexus from within a project, the project's recruiting process is now automatically adopted as the application process for the job listing. In addition, the application method is automatically set to application form, ensuring that applications and candidates are managed according to the same process.

  ### Applications in Project Pipelines Inherit Recruiting Process & Status

  When an application is assigned to a recruiting project pipeline, the recruiting process and the corresponding process steps are automatically applied at the application level. An application can only be assigned to one recruiting project at a time.

  ### Reordering Custom Attributes

  The order of custom attributes on the record detail page can now be adjusted in the administration settings by clicking the up and down arrows, which updates the order displayed on the detail page.

  ### Improved Briefing Scheduling

  Briefings can now be scheduled either daily or weekly at specific times, or weekly on specific days and times — for example, every Monday and Wednesday at 9:30 AM.

  ### Other

  * The project title is now pre-filled in the job title when creating a new job from within a project.
  * Generated documents are now uploaded directly to the Documents tab of the record they were created from.

  * Fixed various issues that prevented Data Management Agent proposals from being accepted in the agent inbox.
  * Added missing German/English translations.
</Update>

<Update label="CW 17 | April 2026">
  ## New Features

  ### Assigning Candidates to Multiple Projects with Individual Statuses

  Candidates can now be assigned to a project with a **workflow status**, either through **matching** or as a **manual assignment**. To do this, a recruiting workflow is assigned to the project, which defines the statuses a candidate can hold throughout the recruiting process. The assignment of candidates forms the **recruiting pipeline**.

  At the candidate level, you can see which projects the candidate is or was assigned to, along with their respective status on each.

  The **Nexus Assistant** also has the ability to track candidate assignments. You can instruct it to assign candidates to a project, update their status, or remove them from a project.

  ### Travel Time & Radius Search in the Nexus Assistant

  A candidate's commute or travel time often plays a central role in selection decisions. For example, you may only want to consider candidates with a maximum commute time of one hour.

  The Nexus Assistant now calculates distances based on data from a leading geo-data provider, giving you precise information about how long a candidate would commute to the work location. Travel by **car**, **public transport**, **bicycle**, and **on foot** can all be taken into account.

  Ask the assistant:

  > Show me the top 3 candidates who have less than 30 minutes commute to \[company name].

  ## Improvements

  ### Extraction of Company Addresses

  When creating companies, **addresses** are now extracted more precisely. This includes **street, postal code, region/state/canton**, and **country**. Addresses can be edited and manually overwritten.

  ### More Precise Operation of the Data Management Assistant

  The Data Management Agent now uses its tools more efficiently and precisely to extract information from new inputs — such as emails, notes, calls, etc. — that can be used to update records.

  ### Voice Input for the Nexus Assistant Chat

  To compose more complex chat messages or prompts, voice input can now be activated via the microphone button in the Nexus Assistant input field. Your spoken words are displayed in the input field after recording ends and can either be edited or sent directly as a message to the assistant.

  ### Other

  * Optimizations have been made to the Microsoft integration.

  ## Bug Fixes

  * Added missing German/English translations.
  * Fixed an issue that caused Outlook meetings to be sent with incorrect time zones.
  * Fixed an issue that prevented custom attributes from being saved on projects and companies.
</Update>

<Update label="CW 16 | April 2026">
  ## Improvements

  ### Improved Context Processing for the Nexus Assistant

  HTML content in emails — such as fonts or other formatting — is not relevant to the assistant but consumes context budget. This irrelevant content is now filtered out, providing the assistant with significantly more precise information.

  ### Images in Email Signatures

  It is now possible to include images and graphics in email signatures in Nexus.

  ### Calendar Entries

  For both Nexus meetings and calendar entries synced from Microsoft, a detail page can now be opened directly from the calendar overview, showing the user the specifics of the entry including times, content, attendees, and further information.

  ### Centralized Task Management in the Calendar View

  The Nexus calendar overview now displays tasks assigned to or created by the user in a right-hand sidebar, grouped by status and due date.

  ### Parsing of Email Attachments

  Incoming and outgoing email attachments are now assigned to records under "Documents" and are also parsed by the Nexus parser.

  * Fixed an issue in email signatures that caused blank lines not to be rendered.
  * Corrected a faulty URL that prevented documents from being opened.

  ## New Features

  ### Custom Attributes

  Custom attributes can now be added to accounts, contacts, projects, applications, and candidates. These are **additional, individual fields that you want to capture on a record**. Examples include "Willingness to Travel" → Yes/No, Driver's License Classes → Various classes, Salary Expectation → From/To range, etc.

  Custom attributes are available:

  * In **list views** as **columns**, for **search** and **filtering**.
  * As **variables** for use in emails and other **templates**.

  If you are a workspace owner, you can ask the Nexus Assistant to create specific attributes for you. Simply write:

  > We need to capture the *willingness to travel* of candidates — create an attribute with the values "High, Medium, Low"

  Custom attributes can be populated by the Nexus AI by enabling the "**Populate with AI**" setting within the attribute.

  ### Extraction of Candidate and Contact Addresses

  When creating candidates and contacts, **addresses** are now **extracted automatically**. This includes **street, postal code, region/state/canton**, and **country**. Addresses can be edited and manually overwritten.

  * An active **warning is displayed when leaving** the Workflow Builder if there are unsaved changes.
  * The "Save" button is only activated when there are unsaved changes.

  ## Bug Fixes

  * Fixed an issue in the list views of companies, contacts, projects, jobs, candidates, and applications that caused only the first 50 entries to be visible.
  * Corrected the order and names of tabs on the account detail page.
  * Added missing German/English translations.

  ## New Features

  ### Saveable List Views

  For **Accounts**, **Contacts**, **Projects**, **Jobs**, **Applications**, and **Candidates**, it is now possible to configure and save list views. List views consist of **filter criteria** — e.g., "Country: Germany" and "Industry: Healthcare" — as well as the **desired column arrangement** in the table. It is also possible to **mark lists as "Default"**. In this case, the record overview will always open with the list defined as the default.

  ## New Features

  ## AI Briefings

  The **Nexus Assistant** can now send you freely configurable briefings via email at scheduled times. For example, define:

  * "Send me a simple list of all applications that will reach their deletion deadline within the next 3 weeks."
  * "Summarize all activities of the 3 projects with the highest budget. Point out any unresolved follow-ups and suggest what the follow-up could look like."
  * "Summarize my upcoming week as a morning briefing. What do I need to take care of, who do I have appointments with, and what are the topics?"

  You then define when you want to receive this briefing by email — for example, Monday morning at 8 AM or every day at 4:30 PM. The Nexus Assistant will always keep you up to date.

  ### Email Attachments in Single, Bulk & Workflow Emails and Email Templates

  Everywhere users can send emails, it is now possible to add file attachments and send them directly. Attached files are also uploaded to and indexed in the **Documents** of the respective record. Attachments can also be added to **email templates** and will be **included by default in individual emails** once users select the template.

  ## Improvements

  ### Sync of Recurring Meetings / Outlook Meeting Series

  The Microsoft integration in Nexus now supports recurring meetings, such as weeklies or standing appointments. When these are created, modified, or deleted, the changes are also reflected in the Nexus calendar — ensuring the Nexus Assistant keeps track of these meetings as well.

  ### Nexus Assistant

  * **Long chat messages are now displayed across multiple lines** instead of as a single long line.
  * Due to the assistant's growing capabilities, the **maximum response length has been significantly increased**, enabling more comprehensive analyses.

  * Fixed errors during onboarding of new users and workspaces.
</Update>

<Update label="CW 10 | March 2026">
  ## New Features

  ### Outlook Calendar Sync

  * Your personal Outlook Calendar is now synchronized. This displays Outlook appointments in Nexus for the user who owns the calendar. It allows the Nexus AI to be aware of all relevant calendar events and use this as context for scheduling or other queries.
  * The Nexus AI Notetaker (Meeting Bot) can now join Teams meetings directly.
  * Meeting recordings and transcripts are linked directly in Nexus to the corresponding Microsoft meeting.

  ### Bulk Actions for Records

  Bulk actions are now available in list views for [Contacts](/core-concepts/contacts), [Candidates](/core-concepts/candidates), [Applications](/core-concepts/applications), and [Accounts](/core-concepts/accounts). When multiple records are selected by checking the checkbox on the left side of the table, a menu appears at the top of the table. The following actions are currently available:

  **Bulk Email**

  Send emails to the primary email address of all selected records. Use email templates and variables to personalize the message.

  **Bulk Delete**

  Delete multiple records such as Accounts, Contacts, Projects, Candidates, or Applications. This permanently removes the record along with any associated documents. Activities are deleted if there are no remaining references to other records.

  **Bulk Export to Excel (.xlsx) and CSV (.csv)**

  Select multiple records and choose the fields you want to export, as well as the file format — either Excel (.xlsx) or CSV (.csv). The export is provided as a download.

  ### Nexus Assistant Now Also Provides Customer Support

  The Nexus Assistant can now access the Nexus documentation. This enables the assistant to answer questions about using and administering the application, for example:

  * How do I create tasks?
  * What is the difference between contacts and candidates?
  * How do I configure application forms?

  ## Improvements

  ## New Features

  ### Content Management Agent (CMA) for images & creatives

  The Content Management Agent (CMA) analyzes images uploaded to Content Studio. When new images/creatives are uploaded, users can activate the Content Management Agent (activated by default). The CMA performs three main tasks:

  * **Description**: The uploaded image is provided with an (internal) description in natural language.
  * **Alt text**: Alternative texts relevant for public images are created. These are short, descriptive image descriptions that are also relevant for SEO.
  * **ARIA description**: Short descriptions are created explicitly in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2, which are designed to increase accessibility on the web.

  ### Prompt Templates

  The new Prompt Template template type allows you to define recurring prompts for the AI, e.g., recurring analyses according to specific specifications, merging of information, or other tasks for the AI that are to be repeated in the same way, e.g., for different Accounts, Contacts, Projects, Candidates, or applications.

  ## Improvements

  ### Content Studio

  Templates can now be deleted and cloned/duplicated directly in the table overview.

  ## Bug Fixes

  ### Company logos from favicons (Account, Workspace, Application Forms)

  * To take advantage of the recognition value of company logos, the favicons of the company websites (always the first domain) are loaded and can now be seen in the list of companies and on their detail page.
  * The favicon of the domain specified in your workspace is used as the workspace logo.
  * Application forms use the favicon stored in your workspace and no longer the Nexus favicon to increase the branding effect.

  ### Content Studio

  Content Studio allows you to create ready-made and reusable templates. These can be used, for example, to quickly create emails, notes, tasks, or calls.

  All templates access variables and can thus be dynamically filled with content at the time of creation. The following templates are available:

  * Notes
  * Tasks
  * Meetings
  * Emails

  ## Improvements

  ### Activity Timeline

  * The buttons in the activity timeline now adjust to the screen width.
